Snapped Ankles – Shifting Basslines of the Cornucopian

It’s a great time to be alive! With entry to the Forest Of Your Problems a little over a week away, Snapped Ankles have unleashed new single ‘Shifting Basslines of the Cornucopians’Lauren Laverne gave it its first spin on BBC 6 Music this morning.

“A cornucopian is someone who believes that the problems of the world can be solved by technology and free market trading,” the woodwose explain. “Gambling essentially. Here’s a song about hedge funds, making hedges and town criers, and hopefully it will encourage some much-needed dancing.”
